Calculating custom build Costs

There’s a number of factors to consider to figure the final price:

  • All purchases unrelated to modding (i.e. the console, add-ons, hardware, skins, etc.) – @ cost +15%
  • Modification fee, depending on console, model and options selected. Price includes required adapters and high-quality SD cards:
    • 3DS – $115
    • PSP 1000, 2000, 3000 – $100
    • PSP Go – $120
    • Wii – $100
    • Vita w/ SD2Vita – $125
    • Vita w/ PSVSD – $165
    • Vita w/ SD2Vita + PSVSD – $225
  • Shipping – ranges from $10 – $25 both ways for standard options.
  • Wii premium games – $40 for one, $60 for two, and all three is $80. If you have your own original discs, you can deduct $15 for each one.
  • Timeline – faster delivery usually means higher purchase prices and/or shipping costs, on a case-by-case basis
  • Custom homebrew and/or hardware modification – based on the number of hours spent creating your dream set up. The fee could be almost nothing, or it could be the most expensive aspect. Consideration is given for new features I decide to implement in my own products.
